This jumbo yarn is lovingly produced in the EU and combines sustainability, top quality and endless creative potential. Whether you’re arm knitting, finger crocheting, or working on chunky knitting projects – this chunky yarn is designed for you. With a thickness of approx. 2–2.3 cm and a length of around 25–30 meters per kilo, it’s perfect for baskets, bags, pet caves or chunky blankets.

Please note:
- Colors may look different on screens. I recommend ordering color samples.
- Weight tolerance: ± 3 % (production related).
- Minor imperfections in the tube yarn may occur due to production, but are very rare and not considered a defect.
Care instructions: Finished items should be washed at max. 30 °C on a gentle cycle. At higher temperatures the filling may expand and alter the appearance.
Approximate yarn requirements:
- Small basket: 1 kg
- XS pet cave: 1.5–2 kg
- Large pet caves: 7 kg and up (weight-limited)
- Chunky blankets: 6–10 kg depending on size and style
- Bags: about 1 kg
Shipping times:
If your desired colors are in stock, I ship within 2–5 business days. For pre-orders or larger amounts (from 5 kg per color), delivery may take 6-8 weeks or more, especially before Christmas.
Care:
To ensure your product remains beautiful and retains its shape for a long time, please follow these care instructions:
- Products made from XXL yarn: Please wash exclusively on a gentle or delicate cycle at a maximum of 30°C (86°F). Washing this yarn at higher temperatures may cause the structure to become extremely fuzzy or the material to shrink significantly, which would alter the product and make the sleeping area much too small for your pet.
- General washing rules for both yarn types: Please always use a mild detergent and choose a low spin speed to protect the fibers and the shape of the product.
- Drying instructions: These products are not suitable for tumble drying and should be air-dried. Once dry, reshape the product as needed.
Important Note on Measurements:
- Tolerances: As each product is a unique handmade item, production-related variations of up to +/- 4 cm may occur.
Material & Quality:
- My XXL Yarn (Cotton): A wonderfully voluminous comfort yarn designed for extra cozy, thick textures. The outer casing of the strands is made from cotton, Inside, a soft polyester (PES) core ensures the perfect shape and stability.
Important Color Information:
- Color Samples: Please note that the color charts for the XXL yarn are shown using my "Emma" cave model for illustrative purposes only. I do not create separate color charts for every single product. The charts are solely intended to help you choose your color; you will receive the specific product model you selected in your order.
- Screen Variations: Please be aware that colors may appear slightly different depending on the individual calibration of your smartphone, tablet, or PC screen. To be absolutely sure that the color meets your expectations, you have the option to order color samples in my shop beforehand.
- Color Sample Refund: If you decide to order a product in that yarn after receiving a color sample, the purchase price of the sample (excluding shipping costs) will be credited back to you. Please contact me BEFORE placing your main order so I can issue a discount code for you to enter at checkout. Unfortunately, it is not possible to apply this credit after an order has been completed.
- Batch Variations: Please note that shades can vary depending on the yarn manufacturer’s production batch. If a single delivery of yarn is not sufficient to complete a product, I may have to start using a new batch mid-production (for example, halfway through a basket). This can result in visible color variations within a single product. This is a production-related characteristic of these materials and does not constitute a defect or grounds for a complaint.
Notice for Buyers Outside the European Union:
- VAT & Pricing: The prices on the product pages may initially be displayed including German VAT. Once you select a delivery country outside the EU in your shopping cart, the price will automatically update to exclude German VAT, as it is not charged for deliveries to non-EU countries.
- Customs & Import Duties: Please keep in mind that once your order arrives in your country, additional customs duties, import fees, or local taxes may be charged. These regulations vary from country to country.
- Responsibility for Fees: These additional costs are your responsibility and are not covered by me. Please check with your local customs office or relevant authorities in advance to determine what fees may apply in your country.

- Not a toy: My handmade products are intended as cozy beds and lounging spots, not as chew toys.
- Supervision: Please check the product regularly for any signs of damage. Especially in the beginning, please do not leave your pet unattended with the product to see how they react to it.
- Exclusion of liability for pet damage: As these products are made from elastic textile materials, they are not resistant to sharp teeth or intense use of claws. I do not accept any liability or provide a warranty for damage caused by your pet biting, chewing, scratching, or digging. Shredding or biting through the material is not a quality defect of the yarn, but rather mechanical damage caused by the pet and does not constitute grounds for a complaint.
