“Frieda” – Handmade Cat Cave in XXL Organic Cotton Yarn
Looking for a cozy retreat for your cat or small dog? My Frieda cave gives your pet a safe and soft place to relax. Whether as a cat cave, dog cave, cat bed, or pet basket, this handmade piece is both functional and stylish.
I create each cave with care in my small workshop in Lower Saxony. The XXL yarn consists of an organic cotton knitted tube, filled with soft polyester fibers – durable, breathable, and comfortable.

Sizes (inner base):
- XS: approx. 20 cm
- S: approx. 25 cm
- M: approx. 30 cm
- L: approx. 35 cm
- XL: approx. 40 cm
- XXL: approx. 45 cm
Outer size approx. 8–12 cm larger, height: 30–60 cm depending on size.
Machine washable at 30 °C gentle cycle. Do not wash hotter, as the cave may shrink or lose color. A hygiene rinse can be used.
Note on shape:
These caves are soft and flexible, not rigid. In larger sizes, they may flatten if pets jump on top. Simply reshape them to restore their form.
